The features and value you get from purchasing the full version is just so worth it. I use this app all the time, its pretty much the only app Ive actually payed for on the App Store :)

Thank you for giving it for free for short time :) I was waiting for a long time finding this kind of app, and I would gladly recommend to buy it. Its letting you watch any movie from your computer right in to your iOS device. Its amazing!!! For me anyway. The only thing I couldnt not do is use the subtitles settings. But for now thats what I was looking for. Thank you VLC :)

Exactly what I was looking for. Works beautifully. Love the ability to add subtitles. I recommend this app very highly.

It is a really handy app I use all the time but theres a lot of room for improvement. It can really get bogged down at times and I have a really fast connection.

Dropped a star. Works great and streams wonderfully, however some versions seem to have glitches. The Dev appears to be great at trying to problem solve and has a nice database of knowledge on the website. With that said, its great for what it does and its still one of my best ITunes purchases

While this player has had a few glitches over the various versions, it is still a rock solid player for all my .mkv files!

Does everything as stated.

This is a wonderful little app. I can walk anywhere in the house with my iPad while watching a movie. The only problem I have with this app is that it loses wifi contact once in a while and I have to shut my computer down and restart to get the app back online. It doesnt happen very often but when it does happen it is annoying. I would give this app four and a half stars, out of five stars.

Overall good but I got a Dolby codec AC3 patent message. It wouldnt play the video.

Plain and simple even a child can say it, "It just works. Smooth. No issues. Perfect."

Easy to covert any video on you device and transfer thru Dropbox... Excellent!

This application is a great idea, however it only works about 30% of the time. Out of interest, I tried in both at work and home with multiple devices and with inconsistencies. This is the type of app that is more frustrating than it is functional.

Its pretty easy to use and works great with Apple TV. I only wish that you can make a running playlist so that the shows run continuously - like in the desktop program

Video files on my PC stream to my iPad over home wifi flawlessly - exactly what I wanted.

A cinch to set up and it worked "out of the box." What more could you ask? Perfect.

This app is great for watching movies but when it comes to adding subtitles I cant choose the encoding of the subtitles on my iOS device, and when I add a movie from my PC using the helper app, I cant choose what subtitles I want to play with my movie it keeps choosing the main subtitle file that comes with the movie, please add an option for choosing a subtitle file or add the encoding option on the iOS app.. its like on each OS there is a missing feature, and if the PC has it, my iOS device doesnt, and vice versa. please add these features, they are extremely necessary! thank you.
